Nestle invested in Timeplast.

Dear all, we recently received the following question in our campaign page:

"I don't feel big companies like Nestle would invest in Timeplast"

Actually Nestle already invested in Timeplast and they've made it public in their official accounts, alongside many reputable industry outlets that picked up the story, such as this one. They were fundamental in the development of one of the four key elements in our technology.

We worked with Nestle Waters of North America in the development of a pathway to address PET's sustainable shortcomings throughout 2018, 2019, 2020 and the beginning of 2021, unfortunately Nestle Waters of North America had challenges in the sustainable space, particularly with public pressure, brand association issues, alongside bottled water's commodification, which ultimately pushed the selling of the entire water business to a new conglomerate.

As with any fresh mega acquisition, the new owners are optimizing profits by reducing costs, and with that R&D projects such as Timeplast took a backseat. Nonetheless, our experience with Nestle proved that Timeplast has an important and solid R&D track record, as well as a great outlook for small, medium and even large corporations.

Thanks again for your time!
