Timeplast in toilet paper.

Dear all,

Toilet paper is one of the most sold materials on the planet, but its environmental impact is severe because, since it is so short-lived, it quickly releases carbon into the atmosphere (more on its impact here), not to mention that since paper is insoluble in water, it clogs piping systems, and generates significant damages every year.

One of the strongest points about Timeplast tech, is the ability to homogeneously entangle at a molecular level with a vast array of different materials, including paper. We've been studying using Timeplast as an excipient in toilet paper, not only to replace a significant amount of paper in the formula, without compromising quality and user experience, but also to make every toilet paper sheet soluble in water.

This is one of the avenues we need to focus our R&D efforts, since toilet paper and the paper-hygiene sector is yet another untouched market by Material Science's innovation; we're aiming to disrupt an extensive size of the paper, metal, glass and plastic material markets.
