Timeplast's impact will decarbonize at a planetary level.

Timeplast is the only company in the world with a planetary decarbonization level.

We're decarbonizing from beginning to end in 4 stages:

Sourcing: Bringing carbon in petroleum form from the Lithosphere or spending energy in growing crops to make plastics generates a vast amount of CO2. Timeplast’s raw materials and its sourcing are independent from petroleum and crops production, which significantly reduces our sourcing’s carbon footprint given that alcohol production for industrial applications mostly comes from the distillation of organic waste.

Polymerization energy: To make plastics takes a lot of energy. We've created a patented pathway and compounds that polymerize itself while being used (extruded, injected, blown or thermo-formed), which means that we provide a double use to the plastics’ manufacturing energy, drastically reducing our carbon footprint and bypassing the industry's most energy intense step.

Plastic Pollution/Cleaning/Depolymerization energy: To take responsibility of our plastic waste, to clean and to solve the issue of plastic pollution will take a tremendous amount of energy, current methods such as recycling or composting even when not truly solving the problem, still use copious amounts of energy. Using the energy of the Sun in Earth’s Water Cycle to fully break down our plastics makes Timeplast the best sustainable and efficient alternative to deal with our own waste.

The alternative to biodegradation: The route of biodegradation and burning of plastics may have sounded positive to most in the past, however it's been demonstrated that if we hypothetically biodegrade all of our plastic waste, we would be injecting millions of tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere altering Earth's climate. Nature intended for most of the carbon in the environment to be soil uptake rather than biogas. Water solubility is Earth's way to clean wasteful materials while keeping organic materials as soil uptake only biodegrading them when needed and required by the ecosystem, not before.
