Today, a Danimer Scientific's investor named David Schaffer asked a great question in our campaign page, and I believe it's important for all of you to also know how Timeplast compares to its main U.S. competitor.

Timeplast is the only company in the world with a planetary decarbonization level.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, there are over 332,519,000 cubic miles of water on the planet, out of this vast volume, the National Geophysical Data Center estimates that 321,003,271 cubic miles is in the oceans.

Toilet paper is one of the most sold materials on the planet, but its environmental impact is severe because, since it is so short-lived, it quickly releases carbon into the atmosphere (more on its impact here), not to mention that since paper is insoluble in water, it clogs piping systems, and generates significant damages every year.
